This type book shows all of the uses of Avenir Next LT Pro and Avenir Next Rounded. This typebook is heavily inspired by infographics to showcase the many uses of Avenir.  This font is a modern version of geometric San Serif letterforms. It is widely used for infographics, ads, and pamphlets, generating a fun, bubbly feeling while being easy to read.  This book is an infographic about goats geared toward children to highlight the friendly nature of this font. All illustrations are handmade for this book, to help showcase Avenir. The green color used creates a strong sense of unity throughout the book while also highlighting goat’s environmental nature. The design challenges faced were regarding how to design the layout of a book, and create unified illustrations, focusing on spacing, orphans, rivers, and widows. In addition, grappling with the challenges of physical media, such as considerations for printing, cutting, and gluing, was necessary. The challenges this brought up were invigorating; in playing with the different ways the typeface can be utilized and further acquainting the reader with the typeface, it creates a vibrant image of the design uses of Avenir Next.
