Paper Doll Project
This project presented a unique challenge of crafting an engaging interactive advertisement for a magazine. The initial hurdle surfaced during the brainstorming phase, particularly in regards to devising a strategy to encourage meaningful interaction with printed media. Ultimately, my solution took the form of an innovative ad for Forever 21, featuring interactive paper “dress-up dolls” that readers could cut out from the page, allowing them to mix and match outfits seamlessly. This project appeals to young adults and adults alike by using a nostalgic, well-known form of toy reimagined in a modern light. Overcoming the project’s primary obstacle involved adeptly navigating Photoshop to ensure the perfect fit of clothes on the models, while also meticulously fine-tuning spacing for optimal visual impact. In addition, on the tabs which hold the clothing to the doll, the price and name of the item are prominently displayed, allowing the customer to easily find information about the product for a potential purchase
